Vaughn Larsen’s photography often centers around self-portraiture, exploring the relationship of gender in relation to their surroundings. Sometimes it’s in the city surrounded by people. Sometimes it’s nude, alone in nature and questioning what makes something “feminine” or “masculine”. I wanted to show that exploration along the west coast’s natural scenery. Pushing further into a dreamy, timeless exploration of what it is to be human.
